Why We Exist

Whereas traditional funerals are sad and sombre affairs, we believe they should be a celebration of a life well lived. Witnessing inaccuracies such as priests giving the wrong eulogy for a loved one, to funeral directors misplacing ashes, we were inspired to create a better way to say ‘Goodbye’.

Our Approach

Having studied as End of Life Doulas, worked in traditional funeral businesses, and had the honour of looking after friends and family at their end of life, we are driven by a desire to create a better way to celebrate the person we knew and what they meant to you.

Power of the Wake

The Wake is often the best part of a funeral and where most of the healing begins. Stories are shared, guests relax and feel their sadness ease. Not just from the beverages, but from hearing the stories that offer insights into a person they loved, shared by others who loved them.
